Life in Colorado

There are so many quirks about about Colorado and its people, here are some things that I have noticed throughout the years.

You know you are a true Coloradan when you spend more money on your outdoor gear and toys then on food or clothes.

No real Coloradoan truck is a good truck unless it has mud on it.

You know you are in Colorado when it is a balmy 70 degrees one day and then snowing and freezing the next day.

You know you are in Colorado when you forget your coat, it rains later that day, without a cloud in the sky that morning.

You know you are a true Coloradoan when your idea of fun is hiking a mountain for 8hrs.

Only true Coloradoans have mastered the art of either living in tents or the back of their vehicles not to miss "the best powder" or "the great outdoors."

Really, only true Coloradoans call in sick to work to go skiing.

True Coloradoans also brave hours of driving and traffic multiple times in the year to get to the ski slopes!

When looking down a hill or mountain, the true Coloradoan will take that mountain and turn it into a playground with very few items necessary. In addition, true coloradoans love going down mountains, be that on bikes, skis, boards, running, sleds, boxes, etc.

True Coloradoans invented granola, I'm sure of it! :-)
