An actual conversation

Here is the conversation I had with Dan at 5:45 this morning. I called his room because we were supposed to get up for a 5k run, but he said to call him, even though he might not go.

Ring, Ring:

Dan (sounding really groggy): "Hello?)

Sara: "good morning sleepyhead"

Dan (groggy and a little alarmed): "What, who is this?"

I'm contemplating if I have the right room number, but I know I do!

Sara: "It's Sara."

Dan (really groggily and confused): "Sara, what are you doing here?"

Sara: "Go back to bed, I'll talk to you later."

Dan: "oh, okay."

It was one of the funniest things ever, and he doesn't even remember it at all! FYI, our rooms in the hotel are right next to each other.
