In the afternoon we really started going through some more of our stuff to sort out what is coming with us to Idaho and what is going to go to Goodwill or be sold. It is really bittersweet. I'm also worried about fitting everything in the U-haul. We sold our old TV so we have been without any kind of movie watching. This has left poor Michael in a state of sheer boredom since he still doesn't have much to do during the day. He'll start work soon though. The big day of moving and new job starting is coming so fast!

Short but Sweet
Since monday was a holiday, Mike and I tried to go hiking in Estes Park. Jan. 15-17 was a free park weekend and we decided to give hiking in the snow a try. Unfortunately, Michael's lungs didn't allow him to be out in the cold air very long, he is still recovering from whatever sickness got him. And hiking in the snow without snowshoes was actually quite difficult, so we completed our mile hike and then went back to the car. It had been warm and sunny in Fort Collins and that quickly turned to cold and snowy in Estes Park, with winds. It was still a beautiful view of snow (Fort Collins is devoid of snow again, Michael even tried to ride his mountain bike!) and was nice to spend the morning together. Maybe someday I'll get Michael to get some snowshoes and we can go snowshoeing more often! Another thing I would like to try is cross county skiing. Maybe someday!
